Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some commonly asked questions along with the answers.

Q: What is Vortex?
A: The Vortex™ liner material is up to 5x stronger than the competition, has 200 stock colors to choose from, and supported by over 600 existing dealerships throughout the United States and other countries.

The Vortex™ Liner is an incredible blend of Polyurethane (Rhino-Liner) and Polyurea (Line-X) materials. This blend of the most durable composites is manufactured by Vortex Sprayliners, Inc. It is a two component, solvent free, and 100% solids product backed with 50 years of coating technology. This product is especially designed for truck bed liners, cargo vans, trailers and virtually all-hard surfaces. This system is great on concrete or block walls as a moisture barrier.

The material can be sprayed from 1/8 to 18 inches and the material bonds to itself so custom logos and graphics can be sprayed on as well. Should you damage the liner, it can easily be repaired by any Vortex dealer in the country (many liners cannot be re-sprayed due to their low adhesion ability).

Q: What is Granitex?
A: Granitex is a patent pending baked-on interior/exterior floor coating. It combines durable urethane and aliphatic urethanes that out perform 2-part epoxy garage floor paints and enamels.

Granitex sets the standard in surface coatings with a patented blend of urethane and aliphatic urethanes to create a high impact protective surface coating. The Granitex baked-on flooring system allows you to create stunning garage floors that resist hot tire damage, are highly UV stable, incredibly stain resistant, and extremely impact resistant. The Granitex flooring system is terrific for home remodeling jobs and resurfacing garage floors, however its amazing UV stability allows it to be applied as an exterior home improvement floor coating as well. The Granitex baked-on floor glazes should not be confused with the typical 2-part epoxy paints common in retail paint stores. The patent pending Granitex glazes are heated within the Granitex flooring machine so that when applied to a floor, the glazes provide a penetrating, long lasting, durable surface tough enough for warehouse floor applications as well as residential garage floor resurfacing.
